The Institute welcomes corporations or firms that agree to the objects of the Institute to join the Institute as Corporate Members, who could be Sponsors or Donors that are prepared to support the Institute’s functions with various means including an annual subscription to the Institute or regular donations. All corporate members do not have voting rights in the Institute’s General Meetings but they are entitled to different benefits in the activities organized by the Institute.

While the benefits to be enjoyed by different sponsors or donors corporate membership could be different according to the type and amount of support given, the admission of any organization to be corporate members and the respective benefit entitled is at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Institute. Nevertheless, the following examples are some references which applicants for corporate membership could consider:

Example 1

A Corporate Member that made an annual subscription of HKD 50,000 could be given 2 free training modules on Building Information Modelling to their staff within a certain year.

Example 2

A Corporate Member that made an annual subscription of HKD 100,000 could be given 5 free training modules on Building Information Modelling to their staff within a certain year.

Example 3

Corporate Members are usually those organizations that are eager to support the Institute but do not necessary require a return on any service or benefit from the Institute. However, if there is a Donor that makes a regular donation of say, over HKD 5,000 / month, the Institute is prepared to acknowledge the contribution by offering a free page of advertisement in its annual publication.

In addition, all Corporate Members would have their names and company logos acknowledged for at least one year on the Institute’s web page upon their contribution to the Institute.
