自2022年10月起, 在環境及自然保育基金資助下, 粵港澳大灣區城市建築學會策動社區先行計劃: 旨在減低裝修工程的環境滋擾,致力推廣裝修工程中能減低裝修滋擾的各種新型技術予業界,並傳遞裝修工程的環保概念給市民。
環保裝修約章是社區先行計劃的里程碑之一, 目的是為本地裝修工程提出一系列針對裝修項目過程中的環保守則, 以減低工程對鄰里至整體社區的環境滋擾。粵港澳大灣區城市建築學會提出了一個願景：A Vision To CHANGE。希望通過社區參與和合作，推廣宣傳、教育及培訓，透過不同持份者，例如設計師，施工人員，供應商，物業管理，政府機構，業主和住户的共同努力，為環保裝修貢獻力量。
簽署儀式於9月19日舉行, 吸引近百位業界人士到場支持。

Initiated by China Graphics Society (CGS), the conference is one of the biggest annual BIM events in Mainland China.
The 11th International Conference on BIM Technology was conducted in Hong Kong for the first time from 30-31 May 2024. GBIUA is glad to co-organise such an international event together with The Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling (HKIBIM) and Hong Kong Alliance of Built Asset & Environment Information Management Associations (HKABAEIMA).
With 2-day live presentations and technical visits attacts more than 500 participants, offering a unique platform to explore the latest advancements in the construction industry and bring global industry leaders, stakeholders and scholars of the construction and IT industries to this event for sharing and networking.
The Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) 30th Anniversary “Let’s Grow for Green” Launching Ceremony was held with a great success on 3.6.2024.
To continue the efforts of promoting the ECF for community benefits, various promotional activities will be kicked off as announced in the Ceremony. This includes a television programme of five episodes named “環境及自然保育基金特約：綠續未來” to be broadcasted on the TVB Jade, TVB Plus and TVB News channels during 10-15.6.2024 (in a sequence of (i) 源頭減廢, (ii) 乾淨回收, (iii) 自然保育, (iv) 環保教育, and (v) 循環經濟) as detailed below:

Event Description: Environmental Protection Department (EDP) commissioned a study to find out overseas experiences and technical solution to reduce sound transmission between residential units. The presentation will share study’s outcomes, technical information in designing and applying sound insulation in residential buildings, application in recent residential developments in Hong Kong and an issued practice note on the associated design and application.
