BIM Professionals Committee

Using BIM technology as the basis, a digital simulation program is used to demonstrate the three-dimensional model of various data in the building life cycle, which helps to promote communication among architects, engineers and people in the construction industry. Through the application of building information simulation, we can improve building planning, design and coordination, and reduce construction waste, improve the safety level of workers, and thus improve the quality of construction. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has brought valuable opportunities to the BIM sector in Hong Kong, allowing the Institute to utilize the resources of various districts in different fields to gather global construction talents and resources in Hong Kong, so that BIM technology can be used in the urban construction of the Greater Bay Area. Branches and leaves are scattered to attract more resources from inside and outside the district.

In addition to holding symposiums, BIM design competitions and study tours, the BIM Committee also provides various training courses to help members connect with domestic and overseas students in terms of qualifications and certification. We will sign an evaluation cooperation agreement with the Chinese Society of Graphics to provide local examination arrangements for students who are interested in obtaining professional qualifications for BIM in China. It is hoped that members can obtain more convenient arrangements for obtaining professional qualifications certified in the mainland through us, thereby further promoting BIM talents. Seamless flow of businesses across geographies. On the other hand, we will gradually establish a BIM digital resource library so that all BIM professionals in the Greater Bay Area can get what they need. These programs are broad-based and provide members with the broadest perspectives in the region. Join the BIM committee and be a professional spearhead on these projects.
