It is my honour to have been elected as the Chairman of GBIUA. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to our Founding Chairman, Mr. Anthony Ng, all the Directors and Committee Members for all their supports and dedications in maintaining normal operations under the difficult circumstances in the past few years.

We will continue to promote Professionalism, Collaboration, Innovation, and Creativity by organising relevant activities for our members and to expand our exposures to the development of the GHM Greater Bay Area. During the coming terms, we will direct our major efforts in environmental sustainability and the adoption of new technologies in our related industry, so “BIM, MIC, IOT, IAQ, Smart Cities and ESG” will be popular terms appearing in our future conversations.

From an industry sustainability perspective, we will continue to liaise and work together with the Government, other professional Institutes, and organisations in the community, to better understand the changing dynamics in our industry, and to strive for a better future.

Let us, especially our young members, better prepare ourselves for the next wave of urban development within the GHM Greater Bay Area.
